Morgan Kay is a Washington, DC–based wedding photographer serving couples nationwide and at destinations around the world. With over fifteen years behind the camera and roots that began in the darkroom, her career evolved from graduation portraits into a full-scale wedding brand grounded in service, legacy, and intention.
Shooting Nikon since 2009 and integrating both digital and 35mm film, Morgan approaches each celebration with a documentary, nostalgia-forward perspective. Her work balances quiet observation with thoughtful guidance — blending into the background so couples can remain fully present, while stepping in with calm authority when the moment calls for it.

Her family spends evenings watching movies and building Legos, while she and her husband enjoy golfing, sushi dates, baking sourdough, and occasionally sneaking her favorite candy — peach rings. I’m a girls' girl through and through—give me a Bravo binge, sunshine-filled days, or a spontaneous outdoor adventure, and I’m in my happy place. But equally, you can find me curled up on the couch with my 4-year-old watching Lizzie McGuire or building epic LEGO creations with my 7-year-old while geeking out over comics.

When I’m not behind the camera, chances are I’m on the golf course with my husband—are we pros? Absolutely not. But there’s no place we’d rather spend five hours than out on the greens, laughing, competing (lightly), and soaking it all in.
